2027년 제18차 일본 HOPE Meeting 참가자 모집 공모
한국연구재단은 일본학술진흥회(Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, JSPS)가 주최하는 “제18차 HOPE Meeting”의 한국 측 참가자를 다음과 같이 모집하오니
관심 있는 신진 연구자들의 많은 참여 바랍니다.
1. 사업 목적
ㅇ 국내 학문후속세대에게 노벨상 수상자를 비롯한 저명한 과학자들과의 만남의 기회 및 강연을 제공하여 학문 및 연구 활동 촉진, 해외 신진 과학도들과 교류할 수 있는 만남의 장을 제공하여 인적 네트워크 형성 및 우수 연구인력 양성에 기여
2. 사업 내용
ㅇ 지원 분야 : 물리학, 화학, 생리학/의학
ㅇ 참가 대상 : 아시아-태평양 ‧ 아프리카 지역 신진과학자(박사과정생 및 Post-Doc. 등) 110명
※ 참가국(안) : 한국, 중국, 일본, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 대만, 태국, 베트남, 싱가포르, 말레이시아, 몽골, 미얀마, 이집트, 남아프리카공화국, 이스라엘 등
ㅇ 개최 기간 : 2027.2.28.(일) ~ 3.4.(목) (5일간)
※ 행사 등록 : 2027.2.27.(토)
ㅇ 개최 지역 : 요코하마(Yokohama-city)
ㅇ 공식 언어 : 영어

- 노벨상 수상자 및 저명 과학자들의 강연
- 강연자와 세미나 형태의 소그룹 토론회
- Poster Presentation (모든 참가자들이 1분씩 발표)
- 다문화 참가자 팀별 구두 발표회
- 문화행사 참여 및 연구기관·유적지 탐방

- 한국 측(NRF) : 왕복 항공권(이코노미)
- 일본 측(JSPS) : 일본 내 체재비(숙박/식사/현지교통), 해외여행자보험 등
일본 JSPS측 지원사항 알림 내용(원문) - JSPS will cover the cost of holding the meeting and local travel costs in Japan - JSPS will cover the cost of overseas travel insurance a) 1. Accommodations at the designated hotel in Tsukuba - check-in: 27 February - check-out: 5 March Each participant will be provided with a single bed room. 2. Meals: from dinner on 27 February to breakfast on 5 March 3. Transportation between Narita/Tokyo International Airport and the hotel/meeting venue. b) Designated travel insurance valid during the meeting period: 27 February to 5 March. |
□ 신청자격
ㅇ 아래 자격요건을 모두 충족하는 자
국내 소재대학 또는 정부출연 및 국·공립연구소에 소속된 한국 국적자로서, 박사과정생 혹은 Post-Doc.(박사후연구원)*
※ 박사학위 취득일이 2021. 4. 2. 이후인 자(출산/육아휴직 기간 제외)
과거 HOPE Meeting에 선발된 적이 없는 자
연구 실적이 우수하고 과학지식 및 그 응용의 사회적 영향에 대한 관심이 많은 자
전공 분야 및 융합연구에 관심이 많은 자
영어로 원활한 의사소통 및 발표․토론 등이 가능한 자
본 프로그램의 전체 일정(’27.2.28.~3.4.)에 모두 참여할 수 있는 자
< JSPS 선정기준(원문) > | ||
Participants are selected based on the following criteria: - At the time of application and on 28 February 2027, an applicant must be a PhD student (not a Master’s student) or young researcher (PhD obtained less than 5 years* ago; after 2 April 2021) and who is enrolled at or working for a university/research institute with a record of excellent academic performance * Excludes periods of maternity/paternity, and childcare leave. - Applicants must not have participated in any previous HOPE Meeting. - Have an excellent record of research and a high level of interest in the societal influence of scientific knowledge and its application - Have a strong interest in a wide scope of science and research - Be expected to become an outstanding researcher who will lead future scientific research - By participating in the meeting, be expected to initiate joint research and/or build collegial networks in the future - Have a strong desire to participate actively in the Meeting’s exchanges and discussions - Possess ample English proficiency to do so - Be able to participate in the entire Meeting program from 28 February to 4 March. | ||
ㅇ 신청제한 및 기타 사항
본 사업은 한국연구재단의 기관고유사업으로, 국가연구개발사업 연구과제 수 상한제도(인문사회분야 1책/3공 및 과학기술분야 3책/5공 등)에 포함되지 않음
국가연구개발사업 참여제한 제재조치를 받은 연구자는 제재기간이 신청마감일 전일까지 종료되는 경우에만 신청 및 참여 가능

※ 별첨한 <Instruction on the Application(JSPS)> 숙지 후 영문신청서 작성
※ 국·영문 신청서 모두 하단에 서명한 후 스캔하여 PDF로 제출
